For the ninth year running, Operalåven is delighted to welcome audiences to its New Year Concert…

Our guest soloist for 2027 is Aleksander Nohr, from Kjerringøy in Nordland. Aleksander has one of the finest baritone voices in Norway and is currently a soloist with the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet in Bjørvika.

He has performed with orchestras in Norway and abroad and released several albums. Known for the warm, lyrical quality of his voice and his compelling stage presence, Aleksander will join Operalåven’s own Marit Sehl for a programme of songs and duets brimming with festive spirit—a wonderful way to celebrate the arrival of the new year. Monica Tomescu-Rohde will accompany them on the grand piano, “Staslin”.

Join us for a musical New Year celebration!
