Guitarists Frode Kjekstad and Arild Jensen usher in the festive season with a programme of feel-good jazz.
What could be better than sitting back and unwinding on the last weekend before Christmas, as bossa-inspired rhythms ease you into the holiday spirit?
Frode Kjekstad is an internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist who performs at venues in Norway and abroad. Arild Jensen is Hallingdal’s very own guitar hero. In recent years, he has often worked behind the scenes as a composer and arranger—but tonight, we’ll hear him take centre stage as a solo artist.
And who knows—perhaps the farm girl from the barn will join us to sing a few songs?
