Forget solemn reverence and pompous opera—this is festive chaos at its finest! Are you ready for a Christmas concert like no other?
.“Opera Christmas” takes some of opera’s best-loved arias and gives them a generous, humorous Norwegian makeover. Epic dramas make way for familiar, outrageous characters we all encounter in the Christmas rush: a stressed-out Christmas elf who’s had more than enough of the pressure to buy presents; a delightfully snobbish lady from Blommenholm who demands a perfect Christmas; a self-satisfied Santa Claus—and what on earth has happened to Rudolph this year?!
Expect outstanding vocal performances and plenty of laughs. Bring your friends, family or neighbours, and book your tickets for what is sure to be the funniest Christmas concert of the year. You’ve never heard “O mio babbino caro”, the “Flower Duet” or “La donna è mobile” quite like this!
